Refund policy
When Mockrew Pro payments can and cannot be refunded, who issues the money, and how to ask.
Last updated: 2026-10-28
The short version
All payments are generally non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund or where we approve one for an exceptional circumstance — a duplicate charge, a billing error, an unauthorised charge, or a material failure of the paid service that is our fault. An individual subscription that has not been used at all may also be refunded at our discretion.
| Situation | What we offer |
|---|---|
| Any payment | Generally non-refundable — Pro is a digital product delivered immediately, and the free trial exists so you can evaluate it before paying |
| Required by applicable law | Full refund where the law requires one, including any statutory withdrawal right that applies to your purchase |
| Duplicate or incorrect charge | Full refund of the wrong amount, at any time |
| Unauthorised charge | Full refund once we or Creem confirm it was not authorised by the account holder — report it to us or to Creem, and you may also dispute it with your bank |
| Pro unavailable through our fault | Refund of the affected period where a fault on our side kept the paid plan from working for a sustained period, you told us while it was happening, and we could not fix it |
| Subscription cancelled mid-period | No refund — access continues until the end of the paid period |
| Unused individual subscription | A discretionary refund, decided case by case — typically where the subscription has not been used at all and the request arrives soon after the charge |
Why the default is non-refundable
Pro is delivered the moment you pay: the licence is issued and the features switch on. There is no unopened box to send back, and a payment is not a trial that can be reversed. That is why the free trial exists — evaluate first, then pay.
Who actually issues the refund
Payments are processed by Creem (https://www.creem.io), which acts as the merchant of record and authorised reseller. It is the seller on your receipt, it collects the payment, and it — not Mockrew — issues any refund. That is why refunds never come from us directly, and why your card details never reach us.
Refunds go back to the original payment method and usually arrive within 5–10 business days; how fast depends on your bank. Creem also keeps the right to issue a refund on its own initiative where the law, card-network rules or a payment dispute requires it, and the outcome of a card dispute rests with your bank.
Cancelling is not a refund
Cancelling stops future renewals and keeps Pro working until the end of the period you already paid for. It does not refund that period, and cancelling after a charge does not reverse the charge — the Terms of Service section 7 sets out how to cancel.
When a charge is refunded, the plan that charge paid for ends there — Pro features stop at the next licence check. Your rules, projects and response bodies stay on your machine and keep working on the Free plan, within its limits.
Where we ended a plan for a serious breach under section 17 of the Terms, that purchase is not refundable.
How to ask
- 1Write to support@mockrew.com with the email address used at checkout, the date of the charge and the transaction or invoice number. The subject "Refund request" reaches the right place, and telling us what went wrong helps more than a one-line request.
- 2We reply within 3 business days. If your request falls under one of the rows above we approve it; for the discretionary case, say explicitly that the subscription has not been used. We may ask for the receipt or for evidence of the failure.
- 3The refund is issued by Creem and lands back on the original payment method.
You do not have to start with email: the receipt Creem sends after every charge has a customer-portal link where you can cancel, change your card or download invoices. If we cannot resolve a problem, you can reach Creem at support@creem.io or through www.creem.io/contact.
Before you open a chargeback
Write to us first. A chargeback is decided by your bank, takes weeks, and rarely produces an outcome a message to us could not have reached. Charges appear on your statement with CREEM.IO as the billing name; if a charge looks unfamiliar, ask us — we can identify it, and unfamiliar charges are often a renewal you asked for and forgot.
Nothing on this page limits your right to dispute a charge with your card issuer. We are only asking for the chance to fix it first.
Your statutory rights
This page describes our own policy. It sits on top of the consumer law where you live and never replaces it — if a statutory right of withdrawal or a statutory refund right applies to your purchase, it applies in full, whatever this page says.
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or the UK, distance-selling rules give you a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases. That right can be lost where you expressly asked for immediate access and acknowledged that you would lose it; where it has not been lost, we honour it in full.
