Account, trial and browser devices

Sign-in, the 7-day trial, the device list and what happens when a subscription ends.

An account is only needed for Pro. The extension works without signing in, and mock rules never require an account.

Signing in

Use Google or GitHub on the sign-in page. Mockrew stores your name, email and avatar URL, nothing else from those providers.

The 7-day trial

  • One trial per account, Start from your account page — no card required.
  • It grants the full Pro feature set, including connecting browsers.
  • When it ends, the account returns to Free; rules are kept, Pro-only rules stop taking effect.
  • Starting a trial twice is not possible, and deleting an account does not reset it.

Connecting browsers

Pro is granted per connected browser. On the account page, Generate code produces a single-use 8-character code valid for 10 minutes; enter it in the panel under Menu → Connect to Activate Pro. Each entry adds one device to your list.

LimitValue
Connected browsers per account3
Connection code lifetime10 minutes, single use
Connection validity90 days, refreshed automatically while the subscription is active
Offline tolerance3 days without reaching the license server
Re-validation period12 hours

The device list on the account page shows every connected browser with its label and connection date. Rename to tell machines apart, Unbind to free a slot — unbinding takes effect on that browser at its next license check.

The limit counts active connections. If all 3 slots are taken, generating a new code fails until you unbind one — this is intentional, so a lost or reinstalled browser cannot silently consume a new slot.

When the subscription ends

  • The extension drops to Free at the next check — there is no grace period on the subscription itself.
  • Connected browsers keep their identity, so renewing restores Pro without re-entering a code.
  • Rules that need Pro stay in the library, marked as not taking effect.

Deleting your account

Email support and ask for deletion. Your account data and device connections are removed; local rules stay on your machine until you uninstall the extension.
